Large Carnivores Course

Management, maintenance and conservation

A course aimed at professionals and university students of biology, veterinary medicine, etc. ..... and all those interested in learning, from the best professionals, how is the management in controlled conditions of large carnivores (bears, wolves, mink, cats) and the special case of giant pandas. We will discuss their needs, reproduction, transport, captive breeding and reintroduction programs, veterinary medicine, conservation programs, etc.... 

The course will take place at Aula del Océano, in the Environmental Education Building of Madrid Zoo Aquarium.

15 and 16 February 2025.

TIME

Saturday from 9:00am to 6:30pm. (Approximate hours) Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. (Approximate timetable).

WHO FOR

Recommended for university students (Biology, Veterinary, Environmental studies, Psychology,...) and general public.
